I choose today to talk about music because I realise how big the importance was in my life. I
can’t spend a minute alone without music. I realize it during Michael Jackson’s movie, This Is It. My sister sat next to me and kept asking me question that I didn’t even hear. I
was totally into the movie. Nothing else around me existed. I love feeling wrapped into music, that’s why I always listen at my I-pod rather than the radio. I think that music kind of save me
during my hard time in Poland, too.
Music can bring joy, and make people cry. Music has a huge power on people, more than everything. Music
expresses more things than words. Music is always related to someone, something, to a particular moment, a particular place. At least for me, my appreciation of a song doesn’t depend on who he is
singing but more on what he or she is singing, how, the music beat and what it reminds me when I listen to it. Like everybody I have my favourite artistes, but it happens like sometimes I don’t
like one of their songs. This is how in my playlist you can find Jay Z, Andrea Bocelli, Paul McCartney, Serge Gainsbourg,
Miley Cyrus and not as famous artists.
As I said before, the reasons that make me like a song are never the same. Some makes me feel
better, some other makes me melancholic. Sometimes I just like it, and I can’t say why. For example I can’t stand Kid Cudi’s “Day n Night” song because the first time I heard it,
I was in Poland, and it wasn’t the best time of my life, even if at the end, I get use to live there. A second example, Black Eyed Peas’ “I gotta feeling” makes me cry (nostalgic
cry) since one of my friends puts it on a video he made with the pictures he took this summer in New York.
I decided it could be fun to share with you my ten favourite songs of the week. I will post it every Sunday noon. They will come from radio, TV Show, Movies, or friends’ discoveries.
To inaugurate this new decision, here is my Top 10 of the Week:
10. Robbie Williams – Angel. His new album has been released last week and blowed my mind. He is back and hopefully for good. I choose to bring back an old song which is my all time favourite.
9. Rick Astley – I Never Gonna Give You Up. One of my friends sent me a link this week that blocked my computer for at least 10 minutes with this song playing again and again. It reminds me how much I used to love it.
8. Jay Z Featuring Alicia Keys – Empire State of Mind. Just because NEEEW YOOORK!
7. Lily Allen – Who’d Have Known. I just love her and the music video rocks.
6. Black Eyed Peas – Meet Me Halfway. It is the new single and one of the best songs of THE E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies) disk.
5. Natacha Bedingfield – Pockeful of Sunshine. I’ve heard it in the “Ugly Truth” (Good Movie BTW) this summer, and I love it. It has been raining for two weeks now, I little bit of sun is always good!
4. Michael Jackson – They don’t care about us. No Comment.
3. Ke$ha – Tik Tok. I’ve heard this song in a Melrose Place 2.0 episode and I can’t stop listening to it.
2. Anya Marine – Whatever You Like. I’ve heard it in Gossip Girl’s new episode and I love her voice, the slow melody.
1. BB Brunes – Lalalove You. It is definitely my favourite song of the week. I just can’t stop listening to it and watching the Beatles’ inspired music video. They will launch their second album tomorrow.

I don't want to go farther before a more
detailled presentation of myself. Why I start this blog? Why I like fashion? Who are my influences? What else I like. So I interviewed my self...Let's see what I've got to
